User must fill in start date, the hourly rate, total allotted PTO hours per year, start and end times, and PTO hours requested per day.
Areas with a blue background are automatically calculated in the spreadsheet version (dates, total hours, pay, total PTO hours used, PTO hour approved, etc.)
PTO approvals are color-coded. Requests that do not exceed the starting balance of PTO are approved in green. Requests that partially exceed the starting balance of PTO are in yellow, and rejections are in red. Only approved PTO hours are calculated at the end.
Hours approved as PTO do not generate more PTO. All generated PTO is added to the balance at the end of the timesheet period.
